Camping in American Fork

We took a break between semesters and went camping up American Fork Canyon to test out our new tent. We built a fire, ate ‘tin-foil’ dinners, roasted marshmallows and cinnamon rolls, and we even make breakfast burritos in the morning. Good thing for my parents who let us borrow all of their camping gear!

Alyssa's Homecoming

Alyssa also came home from her mission after serving for 9 months, so we met her at the airport and it was so exciting to see her! We missed her coming off the plane, but we arrived soon after.

Happy Halloween

Halloween included a Shields party at Aunt Kathy’s home where we ate homemade donuts and watched a BYU basketball game. We dressed up as Arial and Eric. We went over to Jeff and Melinda’s apartment for some cool pumpkin carving. Jeff has had a busy semester in the MBA program, but he took time out of his busy schedule to hang out with us. Despite the baby pumpkin, no we aren't pregnant. :)
